Registration

Register by March 31 to save $5 for Early Bird registration. The last day to register to receive a race packet is April 26. Registration without a packet will continue April 27-May 4. Same-day registration is available for $35.

Packet Pick-Up & Mailing

If participating in-person on race day, we strongly encourage you and/or a team member to pick up your packet during one of the below times. This will help alleviate the wait in line on race day. Packet pick-up will take place at the Iowa Donor Network office in Altoona. If you are unable to make it during these times, you may pick up your packet at the packet pick-up tent on the day of the event.

You ARE allowed to pick up packets for other participants. We ask that you communicate this between participants to avoid confusion.

Virtual Packet Mailing

Virtual Packets will be mailed out to registrants the week of April 22nd. Any registrations between April 22nd and April 26th will be mailed out the week of April 29th.

Packet Contents

Each participant will receive a discount code to their email to purchase items from Iowa Donor Network's Apparel Store! With each fundraising milestone you reach on your personal fundraising page your discount code increases, so get fundraising!

Awards

The overall top three finishers in the following categories will receive a top finisher award:

• Men (13 and over)
• Women (13 and over)
• Non-Binary Individuals (13 and over)
• Youth (5-12)

Awards will also be given to the overall top finisher in each of the following age brackets:

• 13-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60 and older

Course Map

The 5K starts and ends between the Raccoon River Park Playground and the Biddle Rotary Shelter. The route is a closed-loop trail made up of crushed rock and asphalt, encircling Blue Heron Lake.

There are portable restrooms along the trail. A SAG wagon will be running the course to transport any participants who do not wish to complete the walk. Water stations will be at two locations along the trail.

Parking

Free parking is available at Raccoon River Park. Please follow the signage and Parking Attendant volunteers who will guide you in the parking lot. Our Parking Attendant volunteers will be in neon vests and will ensure an easy and smooth parking experience. Overflow parking will be available in the grass lot adjacent to the parking lot. Our Parking Attendant volunteers will help guide you!
