Dear Friends and Family,
Last year on September 12th we lost Lisa Coffin tragically to undiagnosed Diabetes or Diabetic Ketoacidosis.
We know Lisa was a giving person and her last gift was the ultimate gift of life, tissue donation. Did you know every 10 minutes a new person is added to the national transplant waiting list. And worst every day, 20 people die because they didn't receive their gift of life in time. This could be you? We need to do something about this...
I'm participating in the Green 5K to support of Iowa Donor Network and their mission to Working Together to Transform Lives Through Organ, Eye and Tissue Donation. I personally have never been a "runner" but I am running a 5K in honor of Lisa Coffin (Andersen), wife, Mom and the raise money for this cause.
