Amanda Lynne Wilken was a kind, compassionate, and sassy girl. Her smiles, laughter and humor brought happiness to everyone around her. She chose the Pharmacy profession to help our Veterans and was on a path of help and healing for those that protected our freedoms. Her decision to be an organ, eye and tissue donor was one of the many gifts she gave to others. Amanda gave life changing and life saving gifts to 251 people across the United States and 3 countries world wide.  Can you believe that???  The choice she made at the young age of 16 and the impact is profound.  Amanda is forever loved and I could not be any more proud of her gift of eye and tissue donations.  

I'm participating in the Green 5K to support of Iowa Donor Network and their mission Working Together to Transform Lives Through Organ, Eye and Tissue Donation and to honor my incredible and inspirational daughter, Amanda.  

Every 10 minutes a new person is added to the national transplant waiting list.  Every day, 20 people die because they didn't receive their gift of life in time.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal of 251 registered participants to match the number of gifts Amanda gave and $5,000 to support an organization that is important to me.  I sincerely appreciate your help in saving and transforming lives and helping me honor Amanda’s legacy.
