Donate for Iowa Donor Network 5K
I am very excited to be participating in the Green 5K again this year to support the Iowa Donor Network in memory of Amanda Lynne Wilken who gave life changing and life saving gifts to 251 people across the United States and 3 countries world wide when she died tragically of a car accident at a very young age. The choice she made at the age of 16 is profound.
Every 10 minutes a new person is added to the national transplant waiting list. Every day, 20 people die because they didn't receive their gift of life in time.
Myself and my family are participating in the Green 5K to support of Iowa Donor Network and their mission Working Together to Transform Lives Through Organ, Eye and Tissue Donation.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal of $1,000 to honor the gifts Amanda gave to others and to support an organization that has been there to care for donor families. I sincerely appreciate your help in saving and transforming lives.
