I can't imagine how my life would be different without my dad in it. It is so difficult to reconcile one family's devastating loss of a loved one with another family's joy and gratitude for the gift of life and opportunity for a healthy future. I have a deep and humble respect for donors and their families. I wish I could describe the enormity of the impact that organ donation has had on my family but there truly are no words. I whole heartedly believe that organ donors live on in the lives of recipients they save. The effect organ donation has on the lives of recipients, their families and friends is immeasurable.
