Every 10 minutes a new person is added to the national transplant waiting list. Every day, 20 people die because they didn't receive their gift of life in time.
As many of you know I am a volunteer for Iowa Donor Network and feel very strongly about organ donation. Being a kidney donor myself, I have seen first hand how donation can change a persons life.
This year I'm participating in the Donor Dash to support of Iowa Donor Network and their mission Working Together to Transform Lives Through Organ, Eye and Tissue Donation. I am asking my friends and family to support my fundraising efforts by making a contribution. Any amount is greatly appreciated! If you can’t make a donation you can help the cause by simply checking YES to being an organ donor on your drivers license!
